We have yet to find a lighter more powerful Electric Fan than this one! We have hundreds of satisfied customers that this fan  has made believers out of.  By removing mechanical direct drive fans and shrouds and solving their slow speed and idling over- heating problems. This fan moves air when you need it most and not drawing horse power when you do not need it.

With the temperature sensor set up in the return side of the radiator or in the return hose it only runs as required .

Inline temp. sensor goes in your bottom hose, with ground lug.

We made this unit up out of necessity. With no place to put our sending unit in the motor and none in the radiator we quickly made one of these up and put it in one of our race cars! At first it did not work? It has to be grounded! Once we got a ground wire on it we were amazed at how well the fan kept the temperature regulated. The fan runs for about 20 seconds and shut off. Before, the thermostat and fan were always fighting each other. And the temperature would fluctuate up and down constantly. The thermostat trying to raise the temperature the fan trying lower it. By putting the sensor in the bottom hose you make the two work together. Thermostat keeping the motor at a constant temperature and the fan keeping the return coolant at a cooler temperature.

Made 13/4" , 13/8" & 1 1/2" O.D. 6061 T6 Aluminum 3/8" NPT. Bead rolled at each end.

Note; If you are having a radiator built I can put the Temp. Sensor in the side tank and you will not need this.

SPAL THERMOSTAT WIRING HARNESS
The SPAL fan wiring harness was designed to allow for simple installation with all SPAL performance fans. It is compatible with both positive and negative ground vehicles without requiring modifications. The 3/8" pipe thread sending unit comes on at 185° and off at 165°.
