The inside of a cooler
To maximize thermal transfer between the dissimilar
fluids our heat exchanger has multiple parallel aluminum fins within
the inner and outer housing . The fin design increases the
contact surface allowing efficient temperature exchange.
The fins also act to baffle and agitate flow to reduce
"channeling" of the oil. The internal shape is
designed to allow an even flow through the exchanger. In independent
engine dyno tests this free flowing design resulted in superior horse
power when tested against two of the most popular fin and tube type
heat exchangers. Our heat exchangers tubular design allows it
to withstand pressures more than twice that of a typical fin and tube
design without distortion or bursting. This is reassuring
knowing that once installed most heat exchangers are nearly impossible
to inspect for damage from pressure spikes that can result in loss of
efficiency or failure.
To ensure proper coolant flow around
the heat exchanger, it must be installed into a minimum of
2-1/2" tank. Available with #12 AN fittings, #10 AN
fittings, 1/2" NPT couplings and 1/4" NPT couplings for
transmission coolers.

now have a new kind of all aluminum transmission fluid /engine oil cooler in
stock.
This cooler is smaller but still as efficient as the coolers
above.
However because of it's small size we are able to fit it into
smaller tanks of the radiators,
that the other coolers would not fit in to. This cooler comes in
two different sizes.
